Death wobble is usually loose or worn parts, not a steering stabilizer problem.
When to use this guide: Front end shakes violently after hitting a bump.
Death wobble is a violent shimmy that takes over the whole front end after you hit a bump at highway speed. It's caused by worn or loose suspension parts, not a bad steering stabilizer. The stabilizer just hides the feel of the problem. Replace worn ball joints, track bar, or tie rod ends and the wobble goes away permanently. Replace the stabilizer and it'll be back.
